Opening of 50.000m² of warehouses in 2019. The family business specialized in National and international Transport, Logistics and customs early this year 2019, on more than 50.000m² in the North of Paris.

 

As a part of the deployment of its logistics branch, SeD Group (Patrick Dubois family), opened at he end of 2018, nearly 21.000m² in Survilliers (95), thus consolidating the 135.000m² located in Marly la Ville (95) and in Le Mesnil Amelot (77).

 

On the other hand, SeD Group never lose its bearings, since it will open in June 2019, more than 25.000m² of warehouses expendable to 36 000m² in Hauts de France, historical stronghold of the company and also family birthplace of the Dubois.

 

Located in Dourges (straddling 59 and 62 departments), these new buildings will be installed on the multimodal and logistical platform, Delta 3, which runs 300 hectares, offering a strategic location with a logistics hub of more than 300.000m² and new generation buildings that will be able to benefit SeD customers.

 

Buildings with a useful height of 12,20 meters, will be certified BREEAM and classified under the entries 1510, 1530, 1532, 2662a, 2663-1a and 2662a, 2925, 2910.

 

One of the 6.000m² cells will be equipped with a mechanized sorter, a technology already deployed on one of the sites in the Paris Region and for which SeD Group won the 2012 Innovation Award.

 

More than 60% of the SeD Supply Chain Solution logistics turnover is represented by e-commerce. For over 6 years our sorter in Ile de France allows us to process 12.000 to 18.000 orders per day with two teams. In comparison that of Dourges will have the possibility to treat 50.000 orders per day in two teams. SeD Supply Chain Solutions is therefore a key player in e-commerce, because it offers with its mechanization the ability to absorb sales peaks, Black Friday, back to school or any other activity related to the business of our customers.

 

Our group is the only provider to offer this type of solution because our tool is multi format and unlimited output numbers.
